Yes, this film was beautiful. So simple yet profound. The gentleman’s heart was touched to respond, not with a coin but with his obvious talent with words. He went beyond the simple gesture of tossing a coin to the old man and pacifying his own conscience . . . to digging deeper into the pocket of his heart and giving something that would elicit compassion from others.
Human beings have been given the gift of language. Never underestimate the power of our words! Thanks for sharing.

Well spoken Joanne. I get that you understand the power that is embedded in communication. It’s interesting that by simply changing the words on the sign, so he wasn’t asking for compassion, to a simple true statement about himself, he then touched the hearts of those passing.
